Alex Champ

New Caledonian Alex Champ is one half of the power #duo Opal Ocean.

What's characteristic about their #music is that it breaks away from #acoustic #music stereotypes fusing #flamenco techniques with #progressive #rock sounds to create their own unique sonic universe. 

The project started with them crafting their #original #compositions in a Melboune basement in 2013. 

Champ studied music at the Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand.
